Electronic Payments for USCIS Fees

Effective October 28, 2025, USCIS requires that all fees for filed forms be paid electronically. Payments may be made by credit card, debit card, or ACH debit from a U.S. bank account. USCIS no longer accepts payments made by check, money order, or cashier’s check.

For paper-filed forms, payments may be made via credit card or debit card using Form G-1450, Authorization for Credit Card Transactions, or via ACH debit from a U.S. bank account using Form G-1650, Authorization for ACH Transactions.

In limited instances, you may qualify for an exemption from the requirement to pay electronically. If you are eligible, this exemption will allow you to submit a paper-based payment. See Form G-1651, Exemption for Paper Fee Payment, for a list of exemptions.
